Pregnancy Update

I am 12.5 weeks along on this train wreck beautiful and inspiring experience called pregnancy!

I seem to be gaining health problems by the day, though! I may go into further detail in a future post, but suffice it to say, this girl has some hormone problems!

I have lost more than 10 lbs from sickness, too. Zofran can only do so much to keep the yuckies at bay. But I've sang this song, danced this dance before. Three times before. =)

Soon we will know the sex of the baby, which is always exciting. Miss E really wants a sister (of course). R just wants another brother. I think one sister is plenty for him. I think I am rooting for Elly, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was another boy. Daddy wants another boy, too. Says females are more high maintenance. I don't know what he's talking about...

People in general must think wanting this many kids was caused by a temporary lapse in judgement. Everyone is so surprised (and some are humorously slightly disapproving) that our family is growing again. I am actually a bit surprised every time people exhibit shock and wonder. It seems that Caucasian families in particular have forsaken any desire for a large family. I find other people odd who want less or no children. (People with financial hindrances and other considerations excluded) But, I digress...

I have a baby conundrum this go round. We were thinking a baby girl must have an "E" name, and a baby boy an "R" name again. I find myself being very rebellious, though. This might be our last child (YES, I said MIGHT.) and I might just let loose with a "Z" name or something... Baba says I can't name a boy Knightley or Darcy! Isn't that completely NOT understandable? Knightley would be such a rock star name. And who cares if people started weirdly naming their girls Darcy?! Hmmm...well, here are a few of the more interesting names from our families...let's see if we have any contenders:

Eunice

Lavelle

Dessa

Jean

Herman

Bama

Carlos

Pearl

Elsie

Elbert

Randall

Tennessee

..............

Any of those sound good?

Until next time,

Happy New Year

  2. It has been forever since I have seen you! I seen Brandon at the Dollar General and he said you were sick :-( I hope the morning sickness goes away soon. I think E needs a baby sister! I was telling Wesley the other day that if we had another baby I hope it is a girl because I don't want to be out-numbered!!! But for the name you should name him/her something different that you don't hear that much! Love you and hope you get to feeling better and hope to see you soon!!! June

    1. We should NOT be neighbors that never see each other...it's ridiculous. And I am telling you, I have asked Wes for your number (through Baba) like 500 times but every time I get a new phone or SOMETHING and lose it. =( Baba has a Christmas gift for Wes, too =) We have had it forever... =D
