Recently we spent a week in North Carolina. This was the second time we've taken the road trip there with the family. Our route makes it possible to pit stop in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. A lot better than a truck stop, huh? The kids like to go to The Track in Pigeon Forge to ride the carnival rides and go carts. Mr. R got to drive himself for the first time...he was mighty proud!
Miss E went on and on about wanting to ride the train. She had picked a different ride the last time we stopped there. I'm of a mind that next time I should get to ride something. Although, I would happily settle for a funnel cake...
We are hoping that life takes us back to North Carolina a couple more times this summer...
