Birches and Birdies

I like painting. It makes me feel like my creative bones are getting some use. I've been painting a lot more lately. On canvas, on the walls, on the front door, on baking pans... Ahem. You get the picture. Here's is my latest venture...I call them Birches and Birdies:

I think that in spite of the fact that the bird on the left looks like a humpback crow, they turned out pretty good! =) 

Can you tell the bedroom walls have the Love In A Mist blue stripes? Still working on the bedroom so I can't show an after photo yet.

Also, on a more general note, please accept my sincerest apologies for the poor picture quality on this website. I'm not a good photographer and I don't have a good camera. We have no plans to invest in one in the near future, so please bear with me. ("Living like no one else, so later we can live like no one else" as Dave Ramsey would say!)
